Unlike paint ball, these arrows do not hurt on impact or leave bruising or abrasions. Due to the flat barrel head the impact energy is spread over a larger area thus a player will know they have been hit but will not have the battle scares to prove it

 

Spare heads, nocks and fletchings are available so no need to replace the entire arrow should wear and tear have taken place. These durable arrows are comparitivelly low cost and low maintenance.
